How accurate is the number detection?

Fieldframe tags the numbers it's sure about and sends the rest to your review queue. Numbers that are hidden, folded or turned away can't be read, and in a crowded frame the clearest number isn't always the player the photo is about. That's why every detection shows a confidence score in the review screen, and you can fix any tag in seconds. Scoreboard numbers and advertising boards are filtered out automatically, and with a linked team roster only numbers on the roster are accepted.

Can one photo be tagged with more than one player?

Yes. Fieldframe tags the player whose number it reads best, and adds a second player automatically when it's confident about that number too. Anyone else in the shot you add yourself in the review screen, and they show up when their family searches.

How much does Fieldframe cost?

Accepted Answer

Your first game is free, up to 500 photos, with no card needed. Starter is €9/month (or €75/year) for 5 new events every 30 days, and Pro is €19/month (or €150/year) with unlimited events. Clubs have their own plan at €89/month or €749/year. In the United States the same plans are $9, $19 and $89. No per-photo fees, and no commission on anything you sell.

Is my photography protected?

Yes. Gallery previews are watermarked so people can identify their photos but can't use low-quality screenshots commercially. Full-resolution files are only accessible to you. Your copyright and byline are embedded in every downloaded file via IPTC.

Does Fieldframe use face recognition?

Accepted Answer

Jersey numbers do the tagging. When a team roster is linked, Fieldframe also compares faces with players already confirmed in earlier photos, or with a headshot you've added, to help with photos where the number is hidden. A face match on its own never tags a photo: it goes to your review queue with the player's name filled in. You can switch face matching off for any player, which deletes their face data, and before creating an event you confirm you have the athletes' consent or another lawful basis. Do people need an account to view their photos?

Accepted Answer

No. Anyone with the gallery link can search by number or name. No sign-up, no app to download. New galleries start PIN-protected, so only people with the code can open them. You can switch the PIN off for public events.

Question 7

I'm a parent. How do I find my child's photos?

Accepted Answer

Ask your club or the team photographer for the gallery link. It's often shared in the team group chat or on a QR code at the venue. Open it, type your child's jersey number or name, and every photo of them from that game appears. No account or app needed. If the gallery asks for a PIN, the club or photographer can give it to you.

What image formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

Fieldframe accepts JPEG files. Upload your edited exports from the web dashboard, or publish directly from Lightroom Classic using the Fieldframe plugin. Keywords you've already added in Lightroom are read automatically, and any existing IPTC metadata (copyright, byline, keywords) is preserved and merged with the data we embed.

Does the Lightroom plugin work on Windows?

Not yet. The Lightroom Classic plugin runs on macOS for now. On Windows, export JPEGs from Lightroom and upload them in the web dashboard. Keywords you added in Lightroom are still read, as long as your export includes them.

Can I use Fieldframe for multiple sports?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fieldframe works for any sport where participants wear numbers: basketball, football, rugby, athletics, cycling, and more. Each event is categorised by sport but the core workflow is identical.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes, cancel anytime. Your galleries remain accessible until the end of the billing period. After that your account reverts to the free tier. Cancelling doesn't delete anything on its own: photos still follow the standard 12-month retention period described in our Privacy Policy.
